I have felt my silence and I have echoed in the dark. These emotions stay even when I have transcended the need. I have reasoned with myself, and yet I cannot destroy the compassion I carry in my heart. I have poured an endless ocean into this world and have remained barren. My seeds never sprout and the birds never sing. Nights remain cold, shoulders burdened and not a single soul to help.
The gloom of day and the sharpness of night. The divided soul that keeps hoping and the damned love that never accepts. I have pilgrimaged to your house a number of times and I have spent decades wishing in your spring. I have remained parched and not a drop of water has entered my life. I’m forbidden to drink from your endless wealth. I can see and pour my tears to make your fill. I have drowned in my sorrows to replenish you but you have stayed silent showing me dreams of an immortal life. I have craved only a warm embrace and asked you let my soul rest.
I can not lose faith in love no more than I can leave the Hand of God that directs me to a life of solitude and pain. I carry the heart in a hollowed body, bearing the weight of all the love that yearns to break free. I walk silent in a cold rainy night and I find solace in sharing my inner world with the skies.
